Jets Fans: Best Places to Catch the AFC Championship Game in Glen Cove
Local bars and restaurants will offer specials in honor of the Jets playing in Sunday's AFC Championship game.
For the second year in a row, the New York Jets are in the AFC Championship game. This Sunday, the Jets take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Field with kick-off slated to be at 6:30 pm.

Come watch the game with friends, family, pizza, wings and beer. Downtown café is offering a small plain pie and any beer for $10 or wings and beer for $10 eat in only. $4 Heineken and Heineken light along with a gang green mixed drink special. Downtown café will open doors in time for the first game at 2 p.m. and will stay open as late as the crowd determine, especially if the Jets win.

The restaurant will be serving a free buffet which includes three hot units of pasta, vegetables and a meat dish along with a salad bar, tailgate snacks, and an order of drinks. Full bar and restaurant menu is also available. Enjoy watching the game on one of their three big screen televisions. Page One will be open from 12 noon to midnight, and if you guess the final score, you will win dinner for two.
Hunter's Grill – 64 Forest Ave
Hunter’s will be having pasta specials all day as they screen the game from their 12 foot screen. Choices include, but are not limited to, linguine Bolognese, bow tie alfredo with choice of meat and pitchers of beer for $7.95. Reservations are recommended. The grill will be opened from noon to 2 a.m.

Come watch the game at JD's where you'll find $3 pints and many snacks. Regular bar menu features wings, deluxe burgers and french fries, steak sandwiches and quesadillas for $9.00. The bar is also offering a brunch special for $10 which includes a meal and 2 drinks. JD's will be open from noon to 2 a.m.

The Pub located inside will be open on Sunday from noon to 2 a.m. They will be serving off the regular drink and dinner menus all night.
