Mademoiselle Matilde to Perform With Band at St. Jude Magic of Music and Giving

St. Jude Magic of Music and Giving to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Mademoiselle Matilde has revealed details of the second annual St. Jude Magic of Music and Giving, a musical fundraiser benefiting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. The singer will perform live with a band at the event along with other local artists, which takes place May 20th at The Pub 1910 of the Glen Cove Mansion, a 1910, 55-acre estate of John Teele and Ruth Baker Pratt located in Glen Cove considered by Country Life Magazine as one of the best twelve country houses in America. According to a press release, St. Jude Magic of Music and Giving – which also includes a cocktail buffet provided by the Glen Cove Mansion – will host local and international guests.

Mademoiselle Matilde puts together St. Jude Magic of Music and Giving once a year since 2016. Named in honor of the kids of St. Jude and her love for music and charitable work. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, founded in 1962, is a pediatric treatment and research facility focused on children’s catastrophic diseases. It is a nonprofit medical corporation.

"It is a true blessing being able to organize St. Jude Magic of Music and Giving and I'm humble to count with the support of inspirational ordinary people that do want to make a difference" the singer says in a statement. "There is truly nothing I'm more proud of, and we've just gotten started. I'm excited to continue my work and thrilled to be able to host St. Jude Magic of Music and Giving – a night that promises to be fun and inspirational".

Some of the musical acts at the event will include LI Random Notes a duo comprised of vocalist, James Terdick and guitarist, Dave Gorin. They perform many genres of music including unplugged. Howard Sadowsky (Lead guitar player and singer) composes music notes using his guitar, Timster (Bassist) teaches music, Michael Bua (Rhythm Guitarist), Scott Harrington (Drummer), they play different styles of music including classic rock, pop and country.

The event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 11 p.m. in Pub 1910, which is located on the third floor of the mansion. Tickets are $35 per person. All proceeds from these tickets go towards supporting the children of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
