Nassau Man Charged With DWI After Striking 2 Pedestrians
A 54-year-old and a 17-year-old were struck by the drunk driver's car early Saturday, police say.

EAST HILLS, NY – A 45-year-old man was driving drunk when he struck two pedestrians early Saturday, Nassau Police said.
According to police, Robert Corey, of Roslyn Heights, was driving a 2015 Volvo northbound on Locust Lane in the vicinity of Fairfield Lane in East Hills when his vehicle drifted across the southbound lane and struck two male pedestrians, ages 54 and 17, who were walking southbound on the west side of the street.
Corey remained at the scene and called 911. Both victims were transported to area hospitals and are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Corey was placed under arrest at the scene. He is charged with DWI, two counts of third degree assault and two counts of second degree reckless endangerment.
