Part-Time Employment Opportunity - Arts & Crafts Coordinator

Job Description
The Arts & Crafts Coordinator oversees the arts programs and arts & craft activities within the Clubhouse, to include, but not limited to: drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, sculpture, mixed media, arts & crafts, clay-making, and/or theatrical arts. Responsible for assisting with homework program for youth ages 6-10, alongside assistant. The Arts & Crafts Coordinator will be responsible for implementing annual art exhibit. Must be active, motivated, outgoing and enjoy working with youth. PASSION for Arts, and/or background/concentration in arts.
Hours: Start Date, August 29
Monday - Friday, 3:00 - 6:30pm (September - June)
Summer Hours: TBD (July - August)

Pay Rate: $11.00-$13.00/hour (commensurate with experience)
Requirements:
• Some College, Teaching-Arts Degree
• Work experience with youth under 13 years of age required, Boys & Girls Clubs or similar a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to deal effectively with members including discipline problems.
• Demonstrate ability in working with young people and communicate with parents.
• First Aid & CPR certified a plus.
