Part-Time Employment Opportunity - Health & Lifeskills Coordinator

Job Description

Responsible for coordinating, implementing, and evaluating all prevention, health and life skills activities and programs geared towards youth ages 6-14. These programs and activities will develop young people’s capacity to engage in positive behaviors that nurture their own well-being, set personal goals and live successfully as self-sufficient adults.

Hours: Year Round Position
Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:30pm
Summer Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-3:00pm

Pay Rate: $11.00-$13.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

Requirements :
• High School Diploma, Some College or Degree preferred
• Experience working with children a must, Boys & Girls Club experience a plus
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to deal effectively with members including discipline problems.
• Demonstrate ability in working with young people and parents.
• Must possess necessary skills to properly instruct and guide youth.
• Must be creative and resourceful
• Must be versatile
