Part-Time Employment Opportunity - Technology Coordinator

Job Description

Under the direct supervision of the Program Director, the Technology Instructor will ensure technology programs and activities (STEM, digital arts, including photo illustration, movie making, music making, graphic design and web design) are conducted daily in the Technology Lab. Supervise members on computers for safety and ensuring a positive and creative learning environment for members. Recognize and celebrate youth success,creating an opportunity for members to showcase their talents in BGCA Digital Arts Festival.

Hours: Year Round Position
Monday-Friday, 3:00-6:30pm
Summer Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-3:00pm

Pay Rate: $12.00-$14.00/hour (commensurate with experience)

Requirements:
• Some College or degree in related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.
• Experience working with children, in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization
• Ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
• Established strong communication skills, both verbal and written
•Required proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Print Shop, as well as other software programs that would enhance a youth development technology lab
