Preschoolers Are All Smiles Celebrating Children's Dental Health Month

YMCA at Glen Cove Hosts National Children's Dental Health Month

Glen Cove, NY (February 26, 2016) - A group of children at the YMCA at Glen Cove recently observed February as National Children’s Dental Health Month. To celebrate the occasion, preschoolers received a visit from a local dental hygienist who brought along a Dinosaur puppet to demonstrate what to expect during a trip to the dentist and how to properly brush teeth.

Patty read “Going to the Dentist” by Anne Civardi to teach the children what to expect during a visit to the dentist. The event was designed to teach the benefits of properly brushing your teeth as part of National Children’s Dental Health Month.
