Rising Tide brings a Sweet Treat to GCBGC Members
Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club was selected as the charity of the month for July.

Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club was selected as the charity of the month for July for Rising Tide Market’s Bring Your Own Bag (BYOB) program. The program helped raise funds that was generously donated to the Club.
Store Owner and Founder, Jerry Farrell and Marketing Manager, Devon Cortes commemorated the selection of the Club for the bag program with members at a special Watermelon Day event. The kids participated in a Scavenger Hunt and Rising Tide Market served ample pre-packaged watermelon treats for the kids to enjoy.
“We are grateful to Jerry Farrell and the entire Rising Tide Natural Market team for their commitment to the Glen Cove community. We are honored to once again have been chosen for this program that truly supports our City,” said Franca Trunzo Chunga, GCBGC Executive Director.

The Rising Tide Natural Market Bring Your Own Bag program helps raise funds for a different local charity each month. Customers are charged 10 cents for each paper bag provided, and those monies are donated directly to the Charity of the Month. In addition, Rising Tide donates 10 cents for each reusable bag a shopper uses. This is the fifth year in a row that Rising Tide Natural Market selected the Club for this program.
Rising Tide Natural Market has been serving the Glen Cove community for over 40 years, providing customers with organic groceries, a juice & smoothie bar, a full-service deli and more.
