Rising Tide Natural Market Raising Funds for Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club

Rising Tide Natural Market of Glen Cove has designated Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club as its Charity of the Month for May.

Rising Tide Natural Market raises funds for a different local charity each month through its BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag) program. Customers are charged 10 cents for each paper bag a cashier gives them, and those monies are donated directly to the Charity of the Month. In addition, Rising Tide refunds 10 cents for each reusable bag a shopper uses; cashiers ask customers if they would like to donate these monies, as well. This is the second time Rising Tide Natural Market has selected Glen Cove Boys & Girls Club for this program. Last July, the BYOB program raised $500 for the Club.

We are honored to once again have been chosen for this wonderful program that is truly supported by the generosity of our community,” said Franca Trunzo, GCBGC Executive Director.

Rising Tide Natural Market has been serving the Glen Cove community and beyond for 42 years, providing customers with organic groceries, a juice & smoothie bar, a full-service deli and more. The natural food store is located at 42 Forest Avenue in Glen Cove.
