A Salute to Veterans
The American Legion and Ladies Auxiliary of Post 336 in Glen Head are hosting an event on November 3 to honor veterans.
The event will recognize all veterans who have been honorably discharged or are currently serving to protect our freedom in the national defense of our country against the Global War on Terror.
These heroes are invited free of charge to the Evening Salute in their honor on Friday, November 3 at the American Legion Post 336, 190 Glen Head Road in Glen Head. The event will run from 7:00 – 11:00 p.m. and will feature music, dinner and dancing. Veterans and their guest will have a fun evening while learning how the American Legion supports the local community and its veterans.
As the future of the American Legion, Post 336 encourages veterans to become members of the Post. Communities and veterans need the support of Post members to continue the tradition of this great organization chartered by Congress nearly 100 years ago.
