Scout Sunday

Pack and Troop 6 celebrate Scouting in America and does "a good turn."

Scout Sunday is traditionally celebrated the Sunday before the anniversary of the Boys Scouts of America was incorporated on February 8th,1910.  Pack and Troop 6 started the day by attending mass at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, then participated in a service project making 80 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and buttering 3 dozen bagels to be donated to The First Presbyterian Church’s shelter for men.

The sandwich supplies were purchased from money raised from the Pack’s annual popcorn fundraiser and the bagels were donated by the Bagel Café.
