The Mayor and City Council members thanked the event's sponsors, volunteers and participants.

Many Glen Cove residents “braved the shave” this past weekend to support childhood cancer research.

The many volunteers involved in the event helped raise approximately $35,000. This donation will be added to the $200,000 raised by this group over the past eight years.

This was the 9th Annual St. Baldrick's event held in Glen Cove, which benefits the St. Baldrick’s and Nicolas Pedone Foundations.
