Voter's Guide: Glen Cove 2017-18 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Glen Cove residents will vote on the school district’s $85,907,869 proposed budget for the 2017-18 school year on Tuesday, May 16.
The proposal calls for a 2.63 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 1.38 percent tax levy increase, which is the maximum allowable tax levy.

Two candidates are running unopposed for two open seats on the Glen Cove Board of Education, Newsday reports. Candidates are Monica Alexandris-Miller and Robert Field.
