Workshop: Starting and Running A Business

Launching and running a business can be risky. It can also be the most rewarding. That's why the more you know about entrepreneurship, the better prepared you will be to build a successful enterprise. 

For those wanting to learn more, The Glen Cove Public Library is offering its "How to Start Your Own Business" workshop on Tuesday at 7 p.m. 

The program is designed for existing and would-be entrepreneurs. Volunteers from SCORE, retired executives who donate their time to help small business, will provide the basics of on business establishment, legal structure, tax requirements, marketing, financial management and business plans.
