• Prison sentence for Newburgh drug dealer with gun (midhudsonnews.com) — A Newburgh man has been sentenced in Orange County Court in Goshen to nine years in state prison, plus five years’ supervision, for weapon and attempted drug possession charges. Police said they found a loaded handgun, cocaine, packaging materials, and cash after responding to shots fired in Newburgh last October.
   

• Track and field - Check out the Section 9 state qualifier seeding (recordonline.com) — Goshen will host the Section 9 state-qualifying track meet on June 4, with several Goshen High athletes seeded near the top in their events. Boys and girls from across the region will compete for spots at the state championships, including strong Goshen contenders in distance races, relays, throws, and the pentathlon.
