• New Windsor man sentenced for unprovoked stabbing of sleeping relative (midhudsonnews.com) — In Goshen’s Orange County Court, a New Windsor man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison plus five years’ supervision for repeatedly stabbing a sleeping relative in January 2025. Prosecutors say the victim needed surgery for chest and facial wounds, and the district attorney is urging domestic violence victims in the Goshen area to seek help from his office and local support agencies.
