Four Robbers Stole $7,000 Worth Of Hammers From Home Depot In Gowanus: NYPD
Police are searching for four individuals who they believe stole the hammers from the Home Depot on Hamilton Avenue.
GOWANUS, NY — Four unknown individuals stole $7,000 worth of hammers from the Home Depot on Hamilton Avenue last week, police said.
At about 9:28 p.m. Jan. 4, the four individuals entered the Home Depot at 550 Hamilton Ave. and stole the demolition hammers from the store, police told Patch. The group then fled in a green Honda.
Police believe all four suspects are approximately 20-28 years of age.

Police described the first individual as a female with "light complexion" and black hair. She was last seen wearing a tan jacket, black hoodie, gray sweatpants, black and blue sneakers.
The second individual is described as a black male with "dark complexion" and black dreadlocks. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie and black pants, police said.

The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male with "medium complexion." He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.
Police described the fourth individual as a Hispanic male with "light complexion." He was last seen wearing a gray hat, black hooded jacket and gray sweatpants, police said.
