Thief Breaks Into Red Hook Apartment, Steals Cell Phone: NYPD
Police are looking for a man who forced open an apartment in Red Hook and stole a cell phone from a jacket inside.
RED HOOK, BROOKLYN — Police are searching for a man who broke into a Red Hook apartment and stole a cell phone from inside the residence, police said.
At about 9:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, the unidentified male forced open an apartment door in the area of Sullivan and Van Brunt Street, police told Patch. The man then removed a cellphone from a jacket hung up in the apartment and fled into the street, police said.
Police described the man as standing 5-foot-10 and he was last seen wearing dark color clothing.
