• Raytheon Lands $271.5M Navy Contract to Modernize AEGIS Combat Systems (clearancejobs.com) — A new Navy contract for remote mine-hunting systems will send about 7% of its work to Great River, tying local jobs and business activity to a long-term defense project running through at least 2029. The broader award funds specialized modules and engineering support for mine-hunting operations, with most work in Pennsylvania and Maryland but a defined share assigned to Great River.
