• Great Neck Park District reopens Memorial Field after major athletic improvements (longislandpress.com) — Memorial Field in the Great Neck Park District has fully reopened after a major renovation that upgraded the turf, baseball backstops, dugouts, and irrigation to make play safer and more reliable. Local officials joined families and youth athletes for a ribbon-cutting on September 19, celebrating the return of soccer and other sports to this key neighborhood field.
