Armed Robbers Steal Tablets, Smartphones From Great Neck Store

Police are looking to identify two armed robbers who stole tablets and smartphones from an electronics store in Great Neck on Wednesday night.

According to authorities, two men entered the Verizon store, located at 164 Northern Boulevard, ordered a male employee and a female customer to the back of the store and forced them to lie on the floor at 6:28 p.m.

The robbers proceeded to fill their bags with an undisclosed amount of tablets and smartphones and fled the store on foot on Northern Boulevard, police said.

No injuries were reported.

Police described the first robber as black, and wearing a hooded sweatshirt covering his face, blue jeans and white sneakers. Police described the second robber as black, and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, a black mask, jeans and tan boots.
