Asian American Festival is Saturday in Port Washington
Festivities to include cultural performances, folk art, and food from China, India, Japan, Korea and Pakistan.

Saturday is the fourth annual Asian American Festival atΒ North Hempstead Beach Park,Β on West Shore Road in Port Washington from 12-6 p.m.Β
Hosted by theΒ Town of North Hempstead, the event has drawn thousands of attendees in the past from North Hempstead and the metro area. Festivities will showcase cultural performances, folk art, and food from China, India, Japan, Korea and Pakistan.Β Β
Other highlights include βK-pop,β or Korean pop, Bollywood and Chinese puppeteers.Β Youβll also find traditional Japanese farmerβs market, Korean BBQ, and other culinary treats from across the Asian-Pacific countries. Β Β
WAC Lighting is joined byΒ Pakistan Voice and the Chinese World Journal, Kiss and Shanghai Commercial Bank in sponsoring the event.
