Best Yet Market to Open Wednesday in Great Neck

A Best Yet Market is “coming soon” to Great Neck, the company says.

The grocery store chain will officially open its doors with a “soft opening” Wednesday at 10 a.m., according to Newsday.

Best Yet Market is located at 40 Great Neck Road, the former location of Waldbaum’s.

This grocery store chain is a private, Long Island-based, family-owned company that has approximately 20 stores in New York, Connecticut and New Jersey.

Best Market focuses on fresh foods, especially produce, meat, seafood, deli, dairy, and bakery items, as well as traditional grocery store items. Its offerings also include large selections of craft beer and wood smoked barbecue in some stores.

The store will be open every day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Best Market hired approximately 90 employees to open this Great Neck location, Newsday says.
