A BRILLIANT YOUNG MIND at the Gold Coast Int'l Film Festival
Acclaimed British drama screens at Bow Tie Squire Cinemas in Great Neck

Join the Gold Coast International Film Festival for previews of the best new independent films and studio releases, followed by Q&As with filmmakers and industry professionals.
Teenage math prodigy Nathan (Asa Butterfield - Hugo, Ender’s Game) struggles when it comes to building relationships with other people, not least with his mother (Sally Hawkins - Blue Jasmine, Happy Go Lucky). IN a world difficult to comprehend, he finds comfort in numbers. But when Nathan is taken under the wing of an unconventional teacher (Rafe Spall - Life of Pi), and is accepted into the International Math Olympiad competition, he discovers new confidence and new friendships. This original and heart-warming film tracks the funny and complex relationships that Nathan builds, as he is confronted by the irrational nature of love.
Q&A with Branden Plank, former Long Island Director of GRASP (Global and Regional Asperger Syndrome Partnership).
