Canon: Move From Lake Success Nearly Complete

Company relocating 700 employees to Melville next month.

Canon U.S.A., Inc., is in its final stages of a permanent move from Lake Success to Melville.

More than six years after Suffolk County officials helped settle a land dispute and three years after construction began, the digital imaging solutions company announced last week it will consolidate nearly 1,400 Canon employees into one central location at Canon's new regional headquarters.

Nearly half of the company's employees have relocated to the new headquarters while the 700 remaining employees will complete the move in March, according to company officials.
