Community Housing Innovations Lauded For Helping Homeless: Photos
For 27 years, Community Housing Innovations
GREAT NECK, NY — For 27 years, Community Housing Innovations of Patchogue, White Plains, Hyde Park, Newburgh and Hempstead has been "moving families from homelessness to home" by helping to arrange emergency, transitional and permanent housing for those in need.
CHI friends and supporters gathered on June 28 at Leonard's Palazzo in Great Neck for an annual fundraiser, "Bringing Families Home."
Supporting companies and organizations from all areas of housing attended, including Conifer Real Estate Development, Family Center Associates, Freedom Mortgage, Marathon Development Group, PFK O'Connor Davies LLP and TMC Insurance Group.

CHI Executive Director Alexander H. Roberts thanked the organizations for their continuing support, while professor and "CHI hero" Randolph McLaughlin praised the guests for their commitment to helping their communities. CHI received an official citation from Nassau County Executive Laura Curran in appreciation of the organization's "selfless commitment to the community."
