The 3rd Annual Poetry Contest is underway and poets in Nassau, Suffolk and Queens Counties are reminded that entries must be postmarked by Jan. 31, 2013. Poets can submit three poems for consideration and judging. An entry fee of $15.00 is due with your submission. There are prize monies for the top 3 winners and a Awards Day reading to be held on Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Great Neck Plaza Village Hall at 2 p.m. The reading event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served. It is a terrific poetry reading program and it stands to be another, great cultural event in the Plaza.
