The Gold Coast Arts Center Is Now Offering Fall Semester Dance Classes in Ballet, Hip Hop, and More!
The Gold Coast Arts Center Allows Students Of All Ages And Abilities To Learn From The Pros!
July, 2016 (Great Neck, NY) -- The Gold Coast Arts Center has officially posted the catalog of their class offerings for the fall semester online, and classes are filling up quick! Now, people of all ages to can check out the fall season’s best classes in art, music, theatre, film, and dance!
The Gold Coast Arts Center School for the Arts offers quality instruction taught by experts in their fields. This includes Evelyn Balassanian, who began performing as a soloist at age 14 with major European dancers, teachers and choreographers, as well as Lancelot Theobald Jr, who has performed on Broadway, the Metropolitan Opera, Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall, CBS, NBC, Mary Tyler Moore’s walkathon for diabetes research, and more.
Dance classes at the Gold Coast Arts Center include Primary Ballet (ages 3 ½ - 5), Primary Ballet and Tap (ages 4-5), Ballet I (for first graders ages 5-6), Ballet II, III (ages 6-8), Ballet IV (ages 8-11), Ballet V (ages 9-14) and the NEW Ballet VI (ages 9-16) which will give advanced dancers a chance to study on pointe!
Advanced Jazz/Hop for ages 10 is offered, as well as 2 new classes: Hip Hop for Boys and Girls (ages 5-6); and Hip Hop for Boys and Girls (ages 7+). Advanced Hip Hop Just for Boys (ages 8+) rounds out the Hip Hop offerings. For those of a more romantic nature, Lyrical Dance is offered to ages 8+. Adults can also take great dance classes, both private and group. At the end of the year, a grand performance will be held in May to show off all that the students have learned and accomplished!
