Prosecutors say a 55-year-old man struck and raped a woman at his Great Neck home earlier this year.
GREAT NECK, NY — A Great Neck man has been indicted on rape and sex abuse charges after he forced a woman to perform sexual acts on him at his home, the Nassau County District Attorney's Office said Thursday.
Yossef Kahlon, 55, was indicted by a grand jury and arraigned before Judge Robert Bogle on charges of first-degree criminal sexual act, first-degree rape, first-degree aggravated sexual abuse, and fourth-degree aggravated sexual abuse.
The incident reportedly happened at Kahlon's home on Jan. 25, 2021.

Prosecutors say he invited a woman into his home and asked her if she would agree to be bound. The woman supposedly agreed but said she did not want to be struck or harmed in any way.
Kahlon ignored that request, striking her multiple times and raping her, according to prosecutors. He was arrested by Nassau County police on Aug. 19, 2021.

Bail was set at $250,000 cash, $500,000 bond, and $1 million partially secured bond, according to officials. He was also ordered to surrender his passports and submit to electronic ankle monitoring.
If convicted of the top charge, Kahlon faces up to 25 years in prison.
