Great Neck Man Possessed Half-Pound of Marijuana: Police

A Great Neck man was arrested last month in upstate New York after State Troopers said he was found to be in possession of more than half a pound of marijuana.

State troopers conducted a traffic stop for speeding on ST-17 in Monticello on Nov. 29 and found that two of the four passengers in the vehicle were in possession or marijuana, according to authorities.

Tae Hwan Hong, of Great Neck, was charged with third degree criminal possession of marijuana for possessing over 270 grams of marijuana.

A New Hyde Park man was also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
