Great Neck Man Stabs Son-in-Law: Police
The father-in-law was arrested and charged with assault Tuesday night, police say.

A Great Neck man stabbed his step son-in-law with a kitchen knife after the two got into a verbal argument Tuesday night, police say.
According to authorities, an argument between Yong Lin, 60, and the 33-year-old son-in-law escalated to violence when Lin grabbed a kitchen knife and tried to stab his family member at 7:30 p.m.
The son-in-law put his hands up to block the knife, cutting his hand, but was then stabbed in the torso, police say.

The man was transported to a local hospital by private auto and is listed in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
Lin was arrested in front of his Tuddington Road home and was charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree possession of a dangerous weapon. He will be arraigned Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.
