Voters Approve Great Neck School Budget, Board Member Elected
Great Neck residents headed to the polls Tuesday.

Great Neck residents approved a 2016-17 school budget on Tuesday.
The $219,147,365 budget was approved by a margin of 975-182, according to Newsday. The budget is a 1.13 percent increase in spending over the current year and it comes with a 0.17 percent tax levy increase.
Voters also re-elected trustee Monique Bloom, who ran unopposed, to the Great Neck Board of Education.
