Great Neck South Student Awarded for Excellence in Economics, Finance

A Great Neck South High School student was recently recognized for pursuing excellence in economics and finance.

Alana Farkas was a recipient of the Comptroller’s Achievement Award.

She now has the opportunity to apply for a paid summer internship in the Comptroller’s Office when she’s in college.

Nassau County Comptroller George Maragos presented Farkas with her receipt and congratulated the student on her achievements.
