It was wonderful meeting with Girl Scouts from Troop 3096 from Carle Place to help them earn their "Go Girl, Govern" patch. We discussed local government and the role women can play. The patch is part of a partnership between the Girl Scouts USA and Long Island Women's Agenda (LIWA).
