- Dr. Linda Burghardt will give a presentation at 2;30 p.m. based on her dissertation entitled, “Last Waltz in Vienna: Escape and Survival at the Dawn of the Holocaust.” It focuses on the Jews of Vienna who survived through escape in 1938 and 1939, when escape was still possible. Immediately after the talk; Dr. Howard Israel will give an overview of the Temple’s Holocaust Archive project.
- At 4 p.m., there will be a showing of a contemporary Israeli film, “Footnote,” which addresses issues of justice in an academic setting in modern Jerusalem.
