Last Chance: Steve Adelson at Great Neck House

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. From time to time, Great Neck Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.

This week, the Sunday@3 Series in Great Neck features Chapman stick player Steve Adelson Quartet and his jazz quartet.

Adelson, aseasoned musicain who started in the 70s as a guitar player, he has played with many great jazz musicians such as Tal Farlow, Joe Pass and John Scofield. He switched to the stick about 1984 has become one of the great masters of the instrument ever since.

A current park card is required to register and attend the 3 p.m. event at Great Neck House.
