It's two great events in one, outdoors at Great Neck's Village Green!
At 4:00 p.m.: Join us for Levelspalooza, our outdoor festival of music and art. This year's theme: PIRATES & MERMAIDS! Do piratey and mermaidey crafts and challenges, including a bizarre and hilarious "treasure hunt". Hear local teen musicians play, play Frisbee®, or just soak up the sun and have a great time.
...then, at SUNDOWN: just when you're thinking things couldn't possibly get any better -- it's The 8th Annual Levels Film Festival! Student filmmakers from all of the Great Neck schools present short films on the Great Neck Park District's huge, inflatable movie screen. Munch on some popcorn and check out the work of our innovative filmmakers.
At this time, entries are still being accepted for all parts of this day/night festival. Got a musical act, do stand-up comedy or something else that's interesting? Performers and filmmakers must be teens 7th grade and up.
