Metropolitan Commercial Bank Hosts 4th Annual Holiday Coat Drive

For thousands of Long Islanders, the recent emergence of frigid weather brings the harsh reality of the cold winter months that lie ahead. In response, Metropolitan Commercial Bank® is once again partnering with Long Island Cares in collecting lightly used and new coats as part of the Bank’s Give the Gift of Warmth Holiday Coat Drive at its Great Neck banking center. The Bank will be collecting coats through January 10, 2020.

It is especially gratifying during the holiday season to be able to deliver the gift of warmth that these coats represent to so many families across Long Island,” stated Laura Capra, Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Banking. “We asked our employees to help us jump-start our 4th annual coat drive and their response, as it is every year, has been inspiring. It is another example of how Metropolitan Commercial Bank employees rally together to help make a difference in our local neighborhoods.”

Metropolitan Commercial Bank clients, as well as local neighborhood residents and businesses, are welcome to visit the Bank’s Great Neck banking center located at 111 Great Neck Road in Great Neck Plaza during regular business hours to donate gently used or new coats.
