Metropolitan Commercial Bank Hosts Art Exhibit Featuring Elementary School Student Artwork from the Great Neck Public Schools

Metropolitan Commercial Bank recently invited the community to the opening night celebration of the Bank’s fourth Bank on Art Showcase™ event. The showcase featured paintings by elementary school artists from three elementary schools in the Great Neck Public School District: Lakeville School, E.M. Baker School and Saddle Rock School. The evening brought together the Bank’s Great Neck banking center team; Great Neck Public Schools’ Board of Education members, principals, and art teachers; student artists; and proud parents to admire the children’s beautiful artwork.

“The Great Neck community is a hub of young artistic talent, and we are thrilled to showcase the colorful and unique artwork of our local elementary school students,” said Laura Capra, Metropolitan Commercial Bank’s Senior Vice President and Head of Retail Banking. “We specifically designed our Great Neck banking center so that we could provide a unique meeting and showcase space for local community groups — whether that’s our local schools, a business networking group or a charitable organization. Becoming an active member of the community in which our banking centers are located is an integral part of our business model.”

The exhibit displays 30 pieces of art from students in kindergarten through the fifth grade. The artwork will remain on display through the end of June at the Bank’s Great Neck banking center, located at 111 Great Neck Road.
