GREAT NECK, NY — Police have arrested a Thomaston man who they say is responsible for a slew of robberies in Great Neck, Great Neck Plaza and Valley Stream — including at least one armed robbery.
Jonathan Barrientos, 28, robbed a Shell gas station Aug. 25, tried to rob a convenience store Oct. 21, then robbed a BP gas station that same day, making off with cash, police said.
In the Aug. 25 robbery, Barrientos entered the gas station on Northern Blvd around 8 p.m., took merchandise off shelves and left without paying, police said.
