The Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District (BID) and the Village of Great Neck Plaza have announced dates for the annual Summer Sidewalk Sale.
During the event, which runs from June 13-16, Plaza merchants bring their products, goods and apparel onto the sidewalks for shoppers to take advantage of deals.
“This seasonal event gives community members and neighbors a chance to enjoy the summer weather while shopping at their favorite stores in the Plaza,” said Ron Edelson, Great Neck Plaza BID executive director in a press release Thursday. “By bringing retail stores outside, we are creating a unique summer shopping experience for shoppers from across the metropolitan area.”
Free parking will be offered in the Plaza’s three outdoor parking fields, two garages and streets on Sunday, June 16, and in municipal garages on Saturday, June 15.
Event hours are: Thursday, June 13 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Friday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; and Sunday, June 16 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The Great Neck Plaza Business Improvement District’s mission is to foster and promote a positive and vital business community through various initiatives including consumer awareness programs, media/advertising campaigns and sponsorship of many events.
