Reach Out America Presents "Women and Politics, Where We Were, Where We Are, Where We Are Going"
Reach Out America will host guest speaker, Marie C. Wilson, on Wednesday June 8th at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation in Manhasset.
For over 40 years, Marie Wilson’s steadfast advocacy for women’s leadership has pioneered a transformational shift in attitudes and policies in the United States and across the globe about the importance of gender equality to democracy, family, and community; she is Founder of The White House Project; creator of Take Our Daughters to Work®; and President Emerita of the Ms. Foundation for Women. Wilson is a prolific author, has been the recipient of numerous awards and has appeared frequently as an expert commentator and on National Public Radio, the BBC, MSNBC, Lifetime, CNN, and FOX.
