The Great Neck School District has closed schools Friday due to power outages in buildings and at some major intersections in the community.
All after-school and evening programs are canceled. All field trips originally scheduled for this week are canceled.

District students returned to class Nov. 6, eights days after Sandy struck. Classes were again cancelled Nov. 7 due to the nor'easter.
