Students Bring Fake Guns to Great Neck Plaza to Film Movie: Police

Three students were issued a field appearance ticket Friday afternoon, police said.

Three college students looking to film a movie brought a BB gun and two fake guns to Great Neck Plaza on Friday and were stopped by officers for filming without the proper papers, police said.

According to authorities, the local college students did not have any permits to film in the area and were arrested and issued a field appearance ticket for filming without a permit at 1:30 p.m. in the Maple Drive parking lot.

The fake guns were invoiced to the Third Precinct, police said.
