Sunday@3 Series Presents Maya Nova

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. Each week Great Neck Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.

This weekend, the Sunday@3 Series in Great Neck features the Maya Nova Trio with Andrew Lim on guitar and Andrew Klein on bass.

Nova is a soulful jazz vocalist from Bulgaria. After earning her B.A. degree from the Popular Music Department of National Music Academy in Bulgaria, she has pursued the live music stage with several leading jazz and funk groups, according to her website.

In 1998, Nova moved on to tour Europe: Denmark, Norway, England, Cypress and in 2002 she moved permanently to Singapore, where she has established herself as one of the sought after jazz vocalists, appearing at concerts, festivals and events  not only in Singapore but also in Malaysia, India, China, South Korea

A current park card is required to register and attend the 3 p.m. event at Great Neck House.
