Community Chest Golf Outing
The Community Chest of Port Washington's annual Golf and Tennis Outing will be held on Monday at the Village Club of Sands Point. The event kicks off with an 8 a.m. registration and breakfast. Members and non-members are invited to this beautiful club. No handicap is required for golf. Individual golf is $190, individual tennis is $90 and the celebrated BBQ buffet lunch only is $50.
Wild Rescue on Long Island Sound: The Implications

The National Weather Service is forecasting a very different week ahead than last week's brutal heat wave. Daytime highs are predicted in the low 80s. Thunderstorms are possible throughout the week. Still, that beats last week.

'Grease' at The Landmark in Port Washington
The Harbor Musical Theater Company, the musical theater division
within Port Washington Play Troupe, continues with its production of 'Grease' at the Landmark on Main Street’s Jeanne Rimsky Theater. The production will feature a twist: adult actors (ages 30+) will play all the parts as the characters revisit their youth at the 25th Reunion of the Class of '59, performing the original book, music and lyrics by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Great Neck Plaza Summer Concert Series
Plaza Summer concert series favorites Phil Costa's Something Special Big Band are back for another trademark performance of their rousing classic swing music under the lights of Firefighters' Park. The free show runs from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Firefighters Park.
