This Weekend: Play Softball; Wine Tour

Need something to do in Great Neck? Here are Patch's picks.

1. High School Football: Great Neck North (2-0) looks to remain unbeaten Saturday. The Blazers (2-0) play at Friends Academy (0-2) at 1:30 p.m. Great Neck South (1-1) football plays at Roslyn (0-2) at 7 p.m.

2. Great Neck Softball: Get out to the ballpark at Kings Point Park, 71 Steamboat Rd., at 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday and Sunday. Moms, dads, singles and seniors invited. Go to http://­www.­gnsoftball.­com or email gllwsl@­aol.­com for information. (See video to the right)

3. Long Island Wine Country Tour: Tour three Long Island wineries with the Cumberland Adult Center. The wineries, located on the North Fork of Long Island, will offer opportunities to purchase bottles, as well as try rare reserve wines. The trip includes a catered lunch. Time permitting, there will also be a stop at Catapano Goat Cheese Farm and a farm fresh farmstand. The bus will leave at 9 a.m. from the Cumberland Center. Admission $135. Details

4. Sip City: DJ Joe spins all the hits of the day at Sip City beginning at 9 p.m. Friday. Details

5. Close By: Enjoy the Samuel Field Y Fall Family Festival Sunday in Little Neck form 1 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Samuel Field Y.
