Voter's Guide: Great Neck 2017-18 School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.

Great Neck residents will vote on the school district’s $223,311,165 proposed budget for the 2017-18 school year on Tuesday, May 16.
The proposal calls for a 1.9 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 1.26 percent tax levy increase, which is the state’s tax cap.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Registered voters who live north of the Long Island Rail Road may vote at Baker School, located at 69 Baker Hill Road. Those who live south of the LIRR may vote at South High School, located at 341 Lakeville Road.

Four candidates will be running for two Great Neck Public Schools Board of Education Trustee positions. Rebecca Sassouni and Ilya Aronovich are running for one seat while Nikolas Kron and Jeffrey Shi are running for another.
