Voter's Guide: Great Neck School Budget, Board Election
What you need to know for election day.
Great Neck residents will vote on the school district’s $219,147,365 proposed budget for the 2016-17 school year on Tuesday, May 17.
The proposal calls for a 1.13 percent increase in spending over the current year and carries a 0.17 percent tax levy increase, which is within the state’s tax cap.

Trustee Monique Bloom is seeking reelection on the Great Neck Board of Education. She is running unopposed.
Residents who live north of the LIRR can vote at E.M Baker School and those living south of the LIRR can vote at William A. Shine -South High School. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
