D'Urso Wins New York's 16th Assembly District

Voters elected a new candidate to New York's sixteenth assembly district on Tuesday.

Democrat Anthony D'Urso defeated Republican Matthew Varvaro in the local election.

With 100 percent of precincts reporting, D'Urso has 26,608 votes compared to 25,176 votes for Varvaro.
