Woman in Critical Condition After Near Drowning at Thomaston Gym

THOMASTON, NY- A 28-year-old woman was found unresponsive in a swimming pool at a gym in Thomaston Saturday night, police said.

According to Nassau Police, the woman was found in a pool by an employee at the Equinox gym located at 90 E. Shore Road shortly after 8 p.m.

It is unknown how long the woman was in the pool before she was discovered, police said. She was transported to a local hospital, where she is listed in critical condition. Police did not release her name.
